in order to ensure that all of our patient's questions are answered
and options discussed.
- Prenatal Diagnosis
Amniocentesis, chorionic villous sampling (CVS), percutaneous umbilical
blood sampling (PUBS). We use a full spectrum of tests, when indicated,
and after full discussion of potential risks and benefits, to clarify
suspected fetal conditions such as chromosomal defects, inherited
disorders or in-utero infections.
Management of High Risk Pregnancy
We take on the global obstetrical care of a small number of
women who are especially high risk.
Twin Program
Twins and higher order multiples present special problems in
pregnancy. We provide an ongoing educational and monitoring program
for twin pregnancies to prevent early preterm birth.
Diabetes Program
Diabetic education, nutritional counseling and ongoing
monitoring of diabetic management in pregnancy and the health of both
mother and baby.
